The Martial Eagle is one of Africa's top raptors and a formidable predator. With unmatched eyesight, this majestic eagle is able to swoop down on prey for precision strikes.
Fun facts:
1. Africa's Largest Eagle: The Martial Eagle can weigh up to 6.5 kg and have a wingspan of up to 6 feet 5 inches
2. Incredible Eyesight: Its vision is estimated to be 3-4 times sharper than a human's, allowing to spot prey from over 3 kilometers away
3. Fearless Hunter: Martial Eagles hunt snakes, small antelopes, monkeys, birds, and even monitor lizards
3. Powerful Grip: Their talons can crush prey with a force strong enough to break bones. They are built for power, not speed
4. Sky Kings: These eagles soar at altitudes so high that they often appear as tiny dots against the sky - they can ride thermals for hours while scanning for prey
